Cracked panes, sagging lead, bowed panels and lost glass. We release the old came, match the antique glass, and rebuild the window using traditional methods so it reads the way it did when the house was new.
A transom, a skylight, a cabinet door, a privacy panel for a bathroom that faces a neighbor. You bring the room and the idea. We draw it, cut it, and fit it to the opening you actually have.
Studio pieces that push past tradition, built with non traditional elements and found materials. Every one begins as a pencil drawing before a single sheet of glass is scored.
Entry doors, ceiling lights, painted Victorian panels and original portraits in glass. All of it built or brought back in the studio on 5th Avenue.

No visit needed to begin. Most windows can be assessed from three good photographs, and you will hear back with what is wrong, what it takes to fix, and what it costs.
One wide shot of the whole opening, one of the damage, one from an angle so the lead lines show. A phone is fine.
You get an honest read: repair in place, remove and rebuild, or leave it alone. Sometimes the answer is leave it alone.
Panels come to the studio, get rebuilt by hand, and go back into your opening. Landmark and cathedral jobs are scheduled on site.

Bryane studied at the High School of Art & Design, then Pratt, the Fashion Institute of Technology and the School of Visual Arts. He was introduced to stained glass by a teacher and Vietnam veteran who used the medium as therapy, and took his first serious class thirty years ago from Brooklyn glass legend Peter Romano.
He works out of Park Slope and East Flatbush, fusing glass with woodworking, metal and found objects. His influences run from graffiti writers to Egon Schiele, Milton Glaser and Aubrey Beardsley. He wants the person standing in front of the window to simply think.
Small workshops at 300 5th Avenue. Bring yourself. Tools, supplies and safety equipment are included in the class price, and you leave with the piece you built.
Small enough that you get individual instruction and a demonstration whenever you need one.
Beginners welcome. Starter kits and supplies are available at class if you want to keep going at home.
